The Whale Has Launched

We pulled out of the Cherry Creek State Park at about 10am on May 3 (Today).

Craig got the Tail all hooked up after having to make his own 12V direct wire connector to the battery for our Brake Buddy Brake Assist.  The sun was out, but chilly.

It's been a beautiful drive through the Rockies.  It's hard to believe that we are driving down the road in what will be our home for awhile.  A bit of a strange feeling, to say the least.

I'll upload pictures once I get a better Internet connection.

Those of you, (you know who you are), who have worried about Craig falling asleep while driving.  He didn't, but he did get in a nap while I was driving.

We are now parked in Monument RV Park in Fruita, Colorado.  We are close to the Utah border.  We may go over to Moab tomorrow.

Thanks for all of your prayers and thoughts.  The only problem we really had was running over one of our outdoor remote thermometer sensors.  We forgot they were on the top of a tire while we were at Cherry Creek.  We knew they needed a better home, but just forgot about them.  The good news is that we replaced the batteries in the one that we really use and it works!!!!

The Whale and Tail did a great job of getting us over the Rockies and we finally feel that we can relax and enjoy the journey!!!!

Spouting off for today...............
