The Whale Finds an Oasis

A bit of a change in plans.

As much as we would like  to make long range plans, we are finding that you just can't do that as you travel and live in an RV.  Tues. nite we found that we needed to move from our place at the Larson's to another park.  We just picked the nearest place which was just off I15.  It's a pretty plush place, so we won't be staying here long, but it worked out perfectly for meeting some friends.

But first, let me back up.  We had set up a Rug Cleaning company to come to dad and mom's to deep clean their furniture and rugs.  So we were there yesterday morning to move some things to the kitchen and then the four of us had to restrict ourselves to the kitchen for a couple of hours while a great guy name Joey did a great job on the furniture and carpets.  We felt a bit like chickens being held in a coup waiting for the light of day to be set free.  We did get out, got things put back together and then came back to the Oasis.

Our good friends from Colorado retired two months before we did and they had been in California camping and enjoying the coast.  They call us Tues nite to let us know that they were coming through Las Vegas and wondered if they could camp near us.  How perfect!!

Diane even cooked supper for us.

We all went swimming in the nice pool here... one was heated and one was NOT!  It was a salt water pool.
We played a game of Farkle and then all had a good nights sleep.
How fun for the Lord to let us cross paths here and be able to spend some time.  They are heading back to Colorado and we will be doing the same in another week or so.
