Polar Vortex

We attended a Middle School Track Meet today that Collin and Kyra participated in.  In was 49 degrees with a slight drizzle off and on.  Not the best of conditions.

Collin (on the left) took 3rd place in the mile with 6:45 time.

Kyra on her first level of the High Jump

Kyra (second from left) getting ready to run the 100. It was so cold and raining by now. I think she was just happy to have it over with.
Barry and Collin had to leave to go to football practice.  Craig and I came back to the RV to warm up.

Craig has spent some time tonight repairing a plug on our Brake Buddy.  It's a braking assist for the Honda that we pull behind the RV.  Several states require having brake assists.
Here he is in his RV workshop.. which is also the front room, living room and TV room.  Oh, and you could refer to it as our "Great Room", too.  Notice the space heater running on the floor. It's now 43 outside at 9 pm.

Stay warm.  Enjoy the last days of summer.

Blessings,
Kathy
