We left the camp in Hasty, CO this morning and drove about 250 miles. We passed a huge area full of wind machines and then you drop down into OOOOOO klahoma. Can't say that without singing the song. OK in the panhandle is pretty barren although we were surprised with how green everything still is.
For the most part route #287 had terrible roads.
You are only in Oklahoma for about 50 miles and then cross into Texas. The below is Amarillo and we drove through. There was a big amusement park there, too.
We came to this area to explore the Palo Duro Canyon. We'll head over there in the morning. We are in a nice RV Park.
Not sure how long we will stay here or where we are going next.
