Tomorrow we start toward Minnesota
We have been in Aurora, CO since May 31. We have so enjoyed the time with our daughter, Tana, her husband, Barry and the four grand kids But, tomorrow we start what we think will be a four day journey to Minnesota to visit my brother, Bob and his wife, Pam and to do some fishing in one of our favorite places.
It was wonderful to have some time with Craig's two brothers and their families and to attend a farewell party for Cathy and Lou Rozmiarek who will be leaving for ministry in Japan on Wed. They are with Cadence Ministries who care for American Military while they are stationed at bases around the world.
I also got to see some good friends and attended a ceremony today for two of the younger grand sons who won awards for the reading they have done this year. It was held outdoors and it was in the 90's. The same two also played in a baseball tournament that we were able to see. The two older kids left for Church camp and are up in the mountains escaping the 90's we have been having here.

Cooper did a great job of getting in his 1 Million Words and all of the reports that went with it.
Thanks to Barry and Tana and the kids for letting us park in front of their house with The Whale once Cherry Creek got too full for us to stay. And thanks for the meals and showers, too!!!
Tomorrow is back on the road again. We haven't been to our old fishing whole for many years. This is Craig's retirement gift and our Anniversary gift to each other. Somewhere along the road on the 13th we will be celebrating 43 years of marriage!
Sorry that we didn't get to see all of you. We'll catch you next time, or down the road somewhere or in the air someday.
Love and blessings to our family, we will miss you!!! Craig and Kathy |
