Brother Bob

We are parked in the front yard of my brother, Bob and wife, Pam's, front yard.  We'll stay another night and then head out to Little Boy Lake.  We are really enjoying our visit and catching up on family happenings.  The weather is nearly perfect.

Bob's Truck

Bob is a Viet Nam vet that was wounded and spent 2 years in Fitz Simmons Hospital getting patched together again. He walks 6 miles a day even with his bad leg and he has a very well kept home.

I was saddened today when he told me how neighbors and kids in the area mock him for the way he walks with a stiff leg and a built up shoe.  That's just not the way anyone should be treated.

Pam and Bob in their comfy living room.  They remodeled this house and it really is nice.  They did a great job of making a new counter top in their kitchen.

It gets pretty cold up here during the winter, so Bob's winter project is to put together car models.  He has them all in cases and on display in their hobby room.  Pam loves sewing and quilting.

We haven't been together for 13 years and it was so good to get to spend some time and just visit together.  We had a nice dinner out tonight and Bob gave us a tour of the area.  Things have changed a lot since we used to vacation up here as a family!

Happy Father's Day, Dad, Craig, Todd, Jeff, Barry, Bob and Dave!!
You have all played very important roles in my life.
