It was hard to leave Tier Drop RV Park in AZ today, but after five months of soaking in the warmth of friends and sun, it was time to move on. We drove 295 miles to Duck Creek RV Park in Las Vegas, NV.
We were a bit apprehensive making our maiden voyage in The Whale 2.0. There was some wind forecasted, but overall, the traffic and wind were not really a factor. We know it's because of all of the prayers that were being said by you all! Thanks, they were answered.
We took the back roads out of town and passed through the lush fields of greens.
If it weren't for the friendships we have made at Tier Drop, I would like to spend some time in Parker, AZ along the Colorado River.
North from Parker, AZ is Lake Havasu City, AZ.
The small town of Searchlight, AZ. with an old Mine.
Hazy because of the wind in Las Vegas, NV.
We set up at the new RV Park and headed over to see Mom. She's about 12 miles away from where we will be for the next week or so at Duck Creek RV Park on Boulder Highway.
This is the gated community she lives in.
It was good to hug her and I appreciate I still have this privileged.
Give some hugs to those you love.
Blessings,
Kathy
