Someday I hope to have time to write campground reviews. I have been taking pictures and posting them here on the blog. This has been a nice Park. It's located on route 50 east of of Pueblo and a few miles before you get to Canon City.
Here's a few photos I have taken of the Park and the surrounding area today.
It dropped into the thirties last night, but warmed up near 70. Wind and clouds blew through, but we just got a few sprinkles out of it.
The Park is under new ownership and they are making many improvements. The views are certainly breathtaking.
Tomorrow we drive the last 109 miles into Cherry Creek State Park where we will stay for two weeks. We aren't certain what we'll do then. We hope to stay in the area for a couple of months, but we will need to find a place to park. The State Park only allows 14 days out of a 45 day period. We are waiting to see what the Lord has planned. I'm sure it's a good plan.
