Sun, Wind and Rain

Yesterday we all enjoyed a day at the beach.

Cooper, Kyra, Carter and Collin on Galveston Beach.

It was a pretty sunrise this morning.  I took this right out the RV window.
The water is warm and we had a little wind that help bring in some waves to play in.  We had a boogie board and a skim board to play with.

Craig and Tana posed for me before they headed out to surf a little.

They brought a couple of snorkels and masks with on the plane.  I like this picture of Carter, Craig and Kyra getting ready to tackle the ocean.

The kids have fun coming up with things to do.  They dug a big hole and we covered up Collin and drew a strong man with a 6-pack in the sand.

Cooper took a turn next.  Kyra drew him out to be Olaf from Frozen.

The waves made it fun.

Then that wind blew in some clouds and it sprinkled on us a little just before we were ready to leave for the day.  It made me think of how hard it would be to live on the Island and see a hurricane coming in towards you.  That would be a very helpless feeling.
We had dinner at Tana's condo.  They are on the fourth floor with a really nice view.

This house that is being built doesn't look like it would hold up to any strong winds.  We have actually seen some homes that are made out of concrete.

We ended the day by going to the local movie theater to see, "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day"
That was certainly NOT the kind of day that we were blessed with today.

Blessings,
Kathy
