Busy in Bonham

We were so welcomed into Bonham, Texas by Kathy and Vern.  We are parked in their front yard and the guys even put in a 30 amp electrical service and an outside spigot.  It was a wonderful thing because it has been in the 90's and a bit humid until a rain storm went through today.
 This is the water spigot

The new electrical plug that allows us to run the
                                  air conditioner in the RV.

Beth R stopped by to visit with us before she went out of town and it was so good to see her!!!

On Tuesday, Brian and Lisa came over from Dallas to visit with us over lunch.  We feel blessed to know these folks.  They lived in Aurora, CO and moved to Dallas a couple of years ago.  One of their sons worked for us at our Hardware Store.

We were driving around looking at the area and I saw this beautiful feather grass.

John came to help us out and had his T-Bird with him.  How cool is this car!!!1

In 2009 and 2010, we rented a big house on the lake from Mark and Debbie.  She gave us permission to go into the house and use the washer and dryer and Craig was happy to get out and mow the grass on their property.  We had so much fun in this home as our whole family came down for a week and we fished, swam, skied and had so much fun.  You can see why I liked the kitchen.  It has just a bit more space than the RV.

 Front room and dining area

We took salad fixings and took a break from yard work and enjoyed the comfy chairs.

Craig loves to mow lawns and this property was always fun to cut.  Thanks for all of the offers he has for mowing now!

View off the dock. The lake is down a few feet due to a drought they have been having here.  Today's rain may have brought it up a bit.

We caught allot of fish from this dock.  The grand kids had fun going down the slide that is on the dock, too.

View of the newly-mown front yard.

Tomorrow, we are going for a car ride around the Mt. Pleasant area.

Blessings,
Kathy
