Goin' Back to Houston, Houston, Houston

Couldn't help but to think about that song as we came into Houston.

We drove a whopping 91 miles from Livingston to Houston, Tx.
We are staying at a park on the NW side of the big city until we drive on down to Galveston Island on Sunday.
We took some country roads just to enjoy the rolling hills, lakes and tree lined roads.  AND to avoid traffic heading into Houston.

The Trader's Village RV Park is large and well kept.  It gets it's name because of the huge Market that will take place over the weekend.  It's advertised as a "Texas Sized Flea Market".  We will probably do some/lots of walking around at this place on Saturday.

That's us straight ahead with the sunset making our window cover look red.  A very well kept Park.
After getting settled, we found a movie theater and went to see, "Fury".  It's a pretty gruesome movie, but it always makes me appreciate the sacrifices that brave Americans have made.  They also presented Christianity in a good light.

There are lots of RV's park in the section we are in.
We are close to the entrance to the Flea Market, so we could get a little road noise during the day, but they close down at early evening, so we should be all good.

It was another wonderful weather day here in Texas.  Praying this holds up when we get down to the coast.

Blessings,
Kathy
