Fellowship and Food and Food and Food

We have so enjoyed our time in Gun Barrel City and seeing friends that we made when we lived here a few years back.
We had an Italian meal out with this group.

Craig, Paul & Marilyn E, Marvin & Mary W and Kathy

We had a nice pot luck night with this group.

Mary, Marvin, Jois and Craig.

While stationed in Germany we met this wonderful couple.  Andy and Teresa P have had a ministry to Liberia for many years.  They were just a part of sending a large shipment of medical to help with Ebola there.  A very sweet couple.

This is Nico one of their grand kids that Teresa helps take care of.  He was very good while we had lunch.

It sounds like all we have been doing is eating, and we have had some great food, but we have also just really enjoyed seeing friends and visiting with them like Anna and Bill H. (below)

Paul and Marilyn have worked hard on their lawn and flowers and everything looks so nice after some rain that we have had here.

We helped Paul cut up a big limb that had broken off a tree during a wind storm a couple of nights ago and then Craig talked Paul into letting him wheel around his ride on mower.

Below is a Moose Antler plant.  It's something I have only seen in their yard.

Tonight was our last night in Gun Barrel City.  Tomorrow we are heading down the road to the Escapees Park at Lake Livingston.  It's about 150 miles from here.
What a great way to spend the night with.... you guessed it... a meal at DQ.  This is part of the group that used to meet here weekly.

Betty, Anna, Bill, Katie and Carol.

This is Katie with her cutie mom, Cindy.  Cindy does closed captioning and I'm sure she is tired of typing about Ebola and Politics.

Thanks to you all for being so kind toward us and keeping in touch.
Sorry that we missed seeing Stacy and family and Lindsay and her wonderful family and Shelley, too.  Carol and Lou couldn't make it because they were having a great grandboy tonight.  Congrats!!

There is a question that nearly everyone asks us about our travels.  They want to know which is our favorite place to go.  We can talk about the good points in so many places, but what we enjoy the most is to have time with friends.  Thankfully, we find some in nearly every place we go!!

Keep those smiling faces.

Blessings,
Kathy
