Gun Barrel City

We moved from Bonham, Texas on Wed, down to Gun Barrel City, Texas.  We lived here from 2006-2009 and worked as Tech Support for Rock Solid Point of Sale from our home on the lake.  We actually lived in two homes in the area and made some wonderful friends.  Cedar Creek Lake is 20 miles long and we used to love fishing it.... when we weren't working.
Paul and Marilyn used to have a lake home, but downsized and now live in this nice home.  Their driveway in front of the home is large enough for us to park in front with the car behind.  They have put in a 30 amp plug right on the corner of the house since they also own an RV that is parked in back of the large lot.
It's amazing to me of how wonderfully people bless us.  Not only did they provide a place to park, but then Marilyn made these lovely salads for us.

This is Paul walking his dog, Buddy, down the neighborhood street. Things are green here even though they are in a drought.  It's humid and the dew in the morning seems to be helping.  There is rain on the way for the weekend, too.

Here's the Whale and Tail in it's parking spot.

The gardens look so nice.  The above is our "backyard". Their backyard is huge and their dog loves the room to chase squirrels.

Tomorrow we will be having a get together with a few friends for a BBQ on the back porch.
We feel so blessed the way the Lord takes care of us through our wonderful friends.

We miss you, Vern and Kathy!  May the Lord multiply His blessings back to you for your care of us while in Bonham.

Blessings,
Kathy
