It was raining yesterday morning. I stayed behind to dry things out and the guys went out fishing. Todd caught a near 37" Northern Pike and they also caught several Bass, in the rain.

Rain, or not, Craig, Todd and Jeff had a blast fishing together on Father's Day.
We wanted to see Bob and Pam, so after the guys dried out, we drove 30 miles away to Pine River where they have lived since 1996. Bob showed the guys all the work is has done on his home and we had a nice visit.

We stopped and did some shopping and bought more lures and then headed back home as the sun began to peak out. It was time to fish once again.
Craig and I took our rain gear out, but the boys didn't. We had quite a little shower while we were fishing the channel pot hole between Little Boy and Wabedo Lakes. I couldn't help but think about Dad as we were fishing Wabedo. It was the lake we used to fish when I was very young and we stayed in cabins with Outhouses and no running water. Mom, how did you ever consider that a vacation???
The clouds finally started to clear out and the sky and lake were beaming!
We fished nearly until dark.
Todd caught a nice Walleye and a Bass
We ate a late night meal of fish and had Father's Day, Birthday cake. We all piled into our beds and crashed.
We woke up this morning to Todd's 43rd Birthday and the two boys went out fishing. The sun is out!!!! Craig and I are recouping and drying things out here at the RV.
The boys will head back to CP this evening.
Hope your Monday is going well.
Blessings,
Kathy
