Whatzup?

It seems strange to go back to using a Laundromat.  RV Parks usually have pretty well kept ones.  There are two at Tier Drop RV Park and this one is the largest.  The other is actually covered, but outdoors and you can actually hang your clothes on a line if you prefer that over dryers.

We come to this one just to sit in comfy chairs for a spell.

We saw this air balloon drifting by a couple of cloudy days ago.  You can go for rides in these around here.  I prefer walking.

Here's a little video I took a couple of days ago of the canal system.

The volume on this seems loud on my side.  You may want to turn yours down before you start this, just to save your ears.

This is a very social and active RV Park.  There's a little something for everyone.  Twice a month they have dinner/dances.  It's nothing fancy.  You bring your own drinks, plates and utensils.  It was spaghetti last night.  The owner ate with Craig and I and we had a wonderful chat about Jesus, the farming he does and the water rights that they are constantly battling for.  He will be 75 on Monday and he is a wonderful guy.

We stayed for some of the dance.  It was two guys and background music.  It was Country/Western and when they took a break, there was a group that got up and did Line Dancing.

Craig and I danced a bit and (we aren't in this photo).  There were more people, but they were sitting at tables to the left and you can't see them.  This was in the Rec Hall.  It was a nice evening and I always enjoy that slow dance with my hubby.... even if it's Country/Western.

We are still enjoying the rest, reading, walking, running, swimming and visiting that we have been doing here.  We are still scheduled to pull out on the 17th.

Mom called today and her hot water heater that is outside in a closet was leaking.  It was a good thing she went in there to get some plant food and saw it before it completely burst.  Ray and Midge Park came to the rescue and that's exactly what it was.  They not only helped her to buy a new tank, but installed it for her.  That was way above the call of duty.  May the Lord bless them 100 fold for their care and concern for Mom.
