It was hard to leave our new friends in Wellton, AZ, but we pulled out of there today and only had a 3 hour 170 mile drive ahead of us. That's a nice travel day in an RV. The temp got to 90, the sky is blue and we are all settled in our new spot for the next seven days.
We drove through a lot of desert today just as we were hearing about lots of snow falling again in Indiana. Cactus and snow would not go well together.
We had a nice lunch on the patio with my cousin, Jan and Stacy and the dogs and the horses. Thanks, Jan and Stacy for a good visit. We'll see more of them before we leave AZ. I didn't get that picture of Stacy either. Next time.
After our goodbyes we drove another 25 miles to our spot at Val Vista Village. There are 1600 spots here. We are in #76.
The spots are really large with our own driveway for the Honda. Now that we are set up, it's time to go out and look around the park and forage for something to eat.
After a month of no TV reception, it will be nice to watch some of the Olympics and news!!
