Christmas Cookie Time

Nov. 21st, two years ago, we lost my father and Mom's husband of 67 years.  We thought of him today as we helped Mom with the task they always did together.  Christmas Cookie Baking was something they did each year and filled tin cans to give to friends and neighbors.  We only made two kinds today, but will make a few more and freeze them to have for Christmas when family comes in.  In years past they would make about 12 different kinds.
The Cut-out cookie recipe came from Mom's Mom and has become a family tradition for many of us.
Mom complained because we really weren't "picture ready", but smile, you're on candid camera.

Time for Craig's favorite part........... frosting.  Not doing the frosting, but eating it.

It was a busy morning and once we come off the "sugar high" we will take a nap.

Blessings,
Kathy
