Arizona to Nevada

We have been enjoying the warmer Arizona weather and the gorgeous blooms all around.  We have also had some heavy winds and a rain storm like we had not yet seen here.

Wednesday night, we were invited to a wonderful dinner and time together with some of our Tier Drop Family. It was so nice to be able to sit out and enjoy the evening.  Thanks for the fun evening!!

We made a last minute decision to move up our drive to Las Vegas to see Mom for Thanksgiving.  We had planned to leave on Sunday, but we left (this morning) Thursday morning.  The weather and traffic were good.  We buttoned up things with the Motorhome and just drove the Honda up 95.  We cut over to the California side to avoid the traffic around Lake Havasu.

We crossed the Colorado River into California at Parker, Arizona and after a quick lunch.

Entering Las Vegas, Nevada

It's always good to see Mom! She is 90 1//2 and going strong.

We hope to gather with some friends for Thanksgiving and until then, we'll get out Mom's "Honey Do" List and put up some Christmas Decorations and begin to make Christmas plans.  Some of our kids and grand kids plan to come to Vegas for a few days.

HAPPY THANKSgiving

Blessings,
Kathy
