Welcome Back to Tier Drop

We have been walking in the fields of Alfalfa and these fields have been planted with seed onions.

Last year we only spent one month here at Tier Drop.  We we here for the month of January.  Things are so different this year as we came in early and many of the "regulars" have not yet arrived.
The owners of the park and the fields held a "Welcome Back to Tier Drop" dinner tonight.  They made enchiladas and everyone else brought food for a huge pot luck.  We packed out this room.

In the picture below is Jim, the owner and the new Pastor of the park, Lee.  Two very nice guys.
We are guessing that there was well over 120 people there to eat.

Craig and I have been working on "building our nest" a bit.  We are trying to be careful not to accumulate anything more that what we absolutely need.  We bought a side drop panel and and end panel of sunscreen to help protect us from the early morning sun.
We sold or gave away most of the Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations that we had, but we kept some red rope lights and we had a few solar lights left, so we put them up yesterday.

The sun was already setting when I took this picture up toward the pool.  We have cooled down into the 70's here.

Hope you are staying warm and safe.

Blessings,
Kathy
