Still Beached

Tomorrow is an important day.  After selling our Colorado home on March 18, 2013, we have gotten through the Inspection, but tomorrow is the Appraisal.  Things are changing in the housing market here and value are going back up.  This new trend is what prompted us to sell the home that we had built in 1997.  They will use comparisons (Comps), to help determine our value.  One home was recently sold around the corner from us and we think they got more than their asking price, but it appraised well and is closed.

It's been a wonderful provision from the Lord and we have enjoyed this place with many memories of family and grand kids coming to visit grandma and grandpa.  Craig's mother, Martha Collins lived with us here for 8 years after she lost her Husband, Richard Collins.

We have moved many times, but this will be the first time of moving out without a home.  I think we will need to consider the Motor Home HOME, but it will probably take some time to settle into that.

We will miss our mountain views and gorgeous sunsets!!

I know the Lord has many more beautiful things to see.  One of my favorite views are the faces and smiles of family and friends that we will be honored to see over the next few months.

We will be pushing off from shore by May 1st.  We are hoping to have time to learn how to RV, how to drive it and how to find places to stay once we get the household items packed up, sold or stored.

I promise not to run the other direction and just let the Whale be a vehicle to deposit me where I need to be.
