Now this is Retirement

It was a great weekend!
Craig's last day of work was Friday.  We woke up Monday morning with a wonderful feeling of not having to go to work.  It may take awhile to get used to that.

Sat. we went to the boys ballgame and they had a great game.  If you're on Facebook, friend our daughter, Tana, to see highlights from the games that she records on her iPad.

Sat. evening after the game, we came back to the campsite for hot dogs and s'mores and the 4 kids spent the night with us.

They are a bit dark, but that's what it was outside.

The kids even got in a little TV watching while they were jockeying for sleeping positions.  Kyra ended up on the high bed, (since she is the only girl), Carter and Collin on the fold out couch/bed and Cooper was low man out with sleeping on the floor.  I ate too much sugar and was wide awake until pretty late.  I had to wake Craig up to help me figure out how to shut the ceiling vent and to get my contact case that was in by Cooper.  Cooper stirred a little with the commotion and blurted out, "Is everything OK in there".  He didn't remember saying that.

We had early morning visitors.

Kyra and I made breakfast for this strange looking group.  Eggs and cinnamon rolls were on the menu.  Nothing was left over!

Sunday we went to a baseball game and then Tana and Barry put on a very nice Retirement/Good-bye Party for Craig and I. Thanks for working so hard to put that together and thanks to those that were able to attend!!  I forgot to take any pictures.  My bad.

This is Monday.  No work, but a few things on our plate to accomplish, but since we are retired we will only do what we feel like doing.  Oh yeah, there's a few necessary things, too.  We pick up the title and need to license the "Tail" today.  We are also meeting with the previous Whale owner to pick up the Blue Ox tow bar.

We may also do a little remodeling on the living area.  More on that if we actually do it.
