Happy Together
We are thankful that the Lord put Craig and I together and is teaching us how to be content "wherever" we are. That includes with whoever we are around. I have to admit that this RV campground isn't the most friendly place we have been. Most people that come here on weekends are from MN and I don't think they really want "outsiders" coming in anymore. Here's a little bit of what we had for neighbors over the 4th of July weekend.
I took these photos right out of our RV window.
We would wave and speak to this big group that was staying here and they would just stare at us and not respond. Very strange.
I really didn't mind the kids and mess they made as much as I did that the parents went off somewhere and left all the kids out by the roaring fire until 2 am for 3 nights. After the rains this morning, they packed up and went home.
I posted videos of the rain and hail that we got around 7:30 this morning. We bailed out the boat and went out fishing by 8:30 and you wouldn't even know it had rained. This was the short quiet before the wind started blowing about 18 mph.
The shoreline in the next two pictures are the Little Boy Resort where we are staying.
The water is so clear and blue... I love it!
We have been invited to Lorin and Carol's for breakfast in the morning. So there is one very nice couple we met many years ago that live on the lake. We have fished out in front of their dock and caught crappie, walleye and bass and they got to know us when we were up with Mom and Dad many years ago and fished in their bay by their home.
Here's the photo of Mom and Dad in one boat and Craig and I in the other that Lorin took in 2001.
Hope you have recovered from your Holiday Weekend.
Blessings,
Kathy
