We purchased a home in Crown Point, Indiana on June 6 this year. We unpacked the "Whale" (class A Holiday Rambler Admiral motorhome) and put it in storage. We flew out to Colorado to pick up the things we have had in storage and drove the nearly 1,000 miles back in a very uncomfortable truck.
We have had a busy but good summer here in our home town. It's been a great time with family and friends. We worked with our son, Jeff, as assistants, in is job of Director of Facilities for Bethel Churches.
Family reunions, a graduation, fellowship with friends and a trip to the Ozarks were part of the fun we had.
Always makes my heart happy to spend time with the grandkids. They are all growing up with our oldest turning 20 this Sept. and the youngest 13. |
Todd and Haley |
Jeff (son) with Ty, Kara, Rachel (wife) and Kristen (now in college) |
Our daughter, Tana (middle) with her husband, Barry and four kids, Cooper, Collin, Kyra and Carter.
We missed getting in a fishing trip this year, but we have gotten out a few times on a private lake with our two sons.
I even caught a few sunrise/sunset photos.
It's time now to head to our winter spot in Wellton, Arizona. We will drive the Whale out I80 to spend a little time in Aurora, Colorado with family there and then head on down south. We hope to leave on Sat. or Sun. There's some rain moving through that we are watching.

I feel like we have nearly moved again as we have gone through everything here trying to decide what we need to put back into the RV for the months we will be gone.
Craig and I also celebrated Birthdays.... 70/67.
Now, as the seasons begin to change, we'll be glad to see friends that we have made in Tier Drop RV Park. This will be our fifth year.
I know we didn't get to see everyone that we had wanted to, but will try again next year!!
Blessings,
Kathy
