We drove the last leg of our journey to Crown Point, Indiana in the rain on April 3rd.
Back Home Again in Indiana
Our two sons live here

We work with our son, Jeff, at his Church Facility Director position. Part of our pay is to allow us to park on the back of the church property. It's just lots of grass and trees to look at. Spring is just now coming around in northwest Indiana.
Back at Work
There are several projects that we are working on at the same time. Jeff had a list of things to complete before Easter Sunday. He completely remodeled bathrooms at the Hobart/Portage Bethel Church. The stalls needed to be installed, then painting and hardware to bring it all together.
Hub Run
Our daughter, Tana, and her two oldest, Carter and Kyra flew in to surprise Craig and me, too! They had signed up to run the cities 5K Hub Run.
Rachel, Carter and Kyra |
Todd's Haley flew in from CA to be part of the surprise.

Surprise, Surprise for Craig's 70th
We were supposed to meet Todd for breakfast, but that's when we were surprise of how many family members had come to town for Craig's 70th Birthday.
Kyra, Haley and Carter (cousins) |
We all stopped over at my Aunt Rosie's to see her while everyone was together.

To continue the surprise the kids had planned a surprise dinner on Craig's actual Birthday, April 8th.
It was fun to have our family together. |

Finishing Projects for Easter

Hobart Bethel |
We finished up in the bathrooms with several other projects getting done around these. Our son does great work!!
As Jeff finishes remodeling he puts down the new carpet and that's what the guys did to wrap up the week.
Our oldest son, Todd, has a dog named Jax (AKA Louie). He spends his days at Doggy Day Care and comes home exhausted. Todd fixed supper for Craig and I. Wonderful enchiladas!
We had a couple of days left in the week and a few more things to do at the Crown Point Bethel. We converted fluorescent light fixtures to use LED tubes. We put up 195 bulbs in two days.
Just for something to do....... on Saturday the guys changed out the burners on Jeff's grill and put new brakes on the front of Jeff's work van while I washed and vacuumed out three vehicles.
Kristen's 18th
Kristen will be our second grandchild to graduate from High School. She turned 18 on the 15th and we went out for a nice dinner to celebrate.
We ate at the Lighthouse at Cedar Lake. In High School, I sailed on this lake with my Uncle in Yacht Club races .
EASTER
This morning we celebrated the Resurrection of our LORD and SAVIOR, Jesus Christ!
Todd came by to go to early service with us.
This is our view of the Crown Point Bethel parking lot as the second Easter service has begun. There's another parking lot on the other side of the church, too.
I pray that you all have accepted Jesus as the Risen Lord so we will spend an eternity with each other and HIM!!
Blessings,
Kathy
