Leaving Las Vegas

We had a day to rest up from our drive to Haley's Graduation before we started out at 4:30 am with the RV today.  It was cooler and the traffic was very light.  We headed down 95 to 40 and then east. We were greeted by the morning light on the out skirts of Las Vegas.

We had a few clouds that kept the sun from blinding us as we headed east.  We stopped in Kingman, AZ for a fill up.

We are trying out a new Park called Meteor Crater RV Park.  It's very well kept and they have the only trees for miles around.
If you are interested in the Meteor Crater, here's a link that will give you some idea of what is here.

Some very large black birds were enjoying the shade.

There are a few people who live here year around and they have taken great care to grow a nice flower garden.

First thing in the morning... maybe not at 4:30 am, we will head about 270 miles down I 40 to Albuquerque, NM and visit with Charlie and Janis.

Blessings,
Kathy
