Time with Mom

We drove up Hwy 95 from Yuma to Las Vegas last Monday.  It's about a Five hour drive.  We took our time and it was a beautifully sunny and warm day, so we stopped in the Parker/Havasu Lake area and took a few pictures and enjoyed the blue Colorado River.

Sheila sent us on our trip with some fresh picked oranges from her tree and we have been enjoying them here at Mom's.

Mom is in good health and still walks most days and she still enjoys dressing up and going out.
We did some shopping with Mom and have done a few projects for her and Thursday we all went to the Dennis Bono Show at the South Point Casino and enjoyed ourselves.
Mom always looks pretty sharp for someone close to 90!  Actually, she looks great for someone even half her age!

Mom spends most Thursdays with her group of friends watching the free Dennis Bono Show who has many guests that sing and entertain.  Afterward, they gather for snacks and visiting.
Craig, Minerva, Frank, Carol, Marquerette and Marcie.

She has had this Philodendron for several years and it's very happy looking! and so are we.

I was driving her car on Christmas Eve when a woman darted out in front of us in her car and put a pretty good dent on the bumper of Mom's Grand Marquis.  We have been battling with the woman's insurance company and finally they decided it was her fault and sent us a check to cover the repairs

We picked up the car today and were very happy with the job that Gerber Collision did for us.

We celebrated Valentine's Day a day early to beat the crowds. We had their Dinner for Two and split it three ways.  It was a very good!!

The current plan is to head back toward Tier Drop on Sunday with a stop by Mesa, AZ to visit with Midge and Ray for a couple of hours.

Hope none of you live in Boston!

Blessings,
Kathy
