I think this is clever. I've had it for awhile, but just decided to start out this post with it. Laugh or huff as you will. Hope it brought a smile once you got it.
We have all made it through the Holiday Season. It doesn't seem right that we pack so many Holidays together. It does make them a bit stressful for most. Hopefully, we have all decided to participate in the things that are honoring to the Lord and set aside other things that we might otherwise feel guilted into.
We have been waiting for direction before we move on from our time in Las Vegas. Many have asked how Mom is doing and she is lonely, but adjusting to it all. She plans to stay in Vegas in her condo as long as her health will allow. It will be ever so hard to pull away and leave her here, but we hope to stay available for times when she needs us.
The Whale is not good in freezing temps, so we are looking to go to further south for the month of Jan. We will head to the Yuma area where some friends we have met go for the winter.
We will be in Duck Creek RV Park until the 17th. We were staying to make sure that Mom is settled in and to see my cousin's and Aunt on the 15th. My father's older sister will be 96 at the end of the month and they were bringing her out here to celebrate. I just got an email this morning saying that Aunt Georgia is not doing well. Please hold them up in prayer. She is the last remaining sibling of dad's family.
We continue to look for the Lord's direction for the future. We both miss having a home and Craig especially misses a bed where his feet don't hang over "two feet". RV beds (even queen sized) are only 75" long as apposed to the 80" that is normal. So, we are looking and praying about that place.... wherever it may be.
We pray blessings from The LORD for all of you in this New Year.
See you down the road.
