Christmas with Family in Las Vegas

Glad to see that you all have come through on the other side of Christmas.  Now, we'll say good-bye to 2015 and hello to the New Year. It's amazing how time does fly by.

We came back up to Mom's on Dec. 21st.
We pulled out of Tier Drop RV Park in Wellton, Arizona and drove the 300 miles up to Mom's.

The Park entrance was lit up and ready to celebrate.
We like the drive through Parker, Arizona along the Colorado River.

We made it in to Mom's with no problems and started getting things ready for some of our kids and grand kids that would be arriving to spend Christmas with us.

Tana's family arrived on Christmas morning, so we had our traditional cinnamon rolls.  We also enjoyed fresh Tangelos fresh off Sheila's tree at the RV park.

Grandpa Craig had a wild game of cards going.

Collin and his Great Grandma Hoshaw having some quality "time" together.  There was more game playing with checkers and bunco.

Our oldest son, Todd, flew from Indiana to Orange County, California, rented and car, picked up Haley and made the trip over to Vegas for Christmas dinner.

Gift exchange time

We all missed our other son, Jeff, and his family.  They were busy moving into their new home in Indiana.  They are settled in and we hope to see them next year!

We put up an extra table and some chairs and all made it around the table for Christmas dinner.

Katie gave us all a gift of an outing to the movies.  We went to see Star Wars and got there so early, we had a pick of seats.

Craig was trying to help Barry and Tana figure out a problem they were having (and got fixed) with their car that they drove down from Denver.  They were searching the web while we waited for the previews to start.

We had to have some In & Out Burger just so we didn't all starve to death from a lack of good food.
The last night that Todd and Haley were in town, after the burgers, we all went to the Bellagio to see their Christmas display.  Craig and I spent some time on the Strip with traffic and took a few photos of the city lights.

We loved having 5 of the 8 grand kids with us. Carter, Haley, Kyra, Cooper and Collin.

We gathered again at Mom's for a late "Christmas Eve" party on Sunday night.  We enjoyed having some of Mom's good friends join us.

On Monday, Todd and Haley headed back to California.  The rest of us were invited over to Midge and Ray's for a Monday Night Football Party. Not sure they knew what they had done by inviting in some very noisy Bronco fans.  It was Midge and Ray's 30th Wedding Anniversary, too!

They set up their whole place just for us to enjoy!  It was great to have SO MUCH ROOM to move around in.  And, of coarse, there was more grazing to do.

They even fired up their hot tub for us. So it was a very enjoyable half time.

To top off the hospitality, Midge and Ray are Seahawk Fans since they are from Washington.  They certainly went all out for us all.  Thanks again for such a fun night!

We took down Mom's Christmas decorations yesterday and cleaned up the house a little, but mainly just took out a day to rest.  Mom has been fighting a cold and we wanted to make sure that she was winning the battle.
Today we'll meet Tana's family on the Strip to do the "CSI Experience" and they will come over tonight to help us eat up all of the left overs that are packed into the fridge.
We head back to Arizona on Friday and Tana drives back to Denver on the 2nd.
Craig and I are "never going to eat again".....
Or at least until lunch time.

We pray that the New Year that is coming in will find you rich in the Lord's Blessings,
Kathy
