Tier Drop to Chiricahua Monument

We pulled away from many friends at Tier Drop RV Park on Friday and headed about 300 miles east to meet up with friends from the very same park.  It made leaving just a bit easier.
We had a large number that would attend Wed. morning Bible Study.  The Pastor has been teaching through the Book of Revelation.  What a timely Book to study.  This is a very special group of people and we will surely miss all of these Snow Birds.

I was able to catch a little of the final TD sunset.

We stopped to fill up the gas tank on the Motorhome and this was a welcome sight.  We began RVing 3 years ago and the gas was at nearly $4.00 a gallon.  We paid $1.21 because of the Pilot Reward Card we have.

We traveled east on route 8 toward Tuscon until we turned onto route 10.

We are staying in Wellcox, AZ at the Ft. Willcox RV Park.

The Howards and Rutherfords have been sight seeing in their RVes down through southern Arizona for the past week.  So, we had made arrangements to meet up with them today.  We drove 40 miles down to the Chiricahua National Monument.  It was so good to see their faces.

What a gorgeous canyon!  We hiked up a path and we were able to take a few photos.  It was a beautiful day all around.

Tomorrow (Sunday, March 6) Greg and Lynn head north to visit folks in Phoenix and Al and Sandy will come and spend a night with us here in Willcox.  On Monday, we hope to head on over toward Texas.... a few miles at a time.

Blessings,
Kathy
