The Last Days of Arizona

Friday, March 4th will end our four month stay here in Tier Drop RV Park.  We so enjoyed the visit we had from our Indiana friends, Bob and Denise.  It was great to catch up on what has been going on in their lives.

We also love it when old friends can meet old friends.

Craig, Sandy, Al, Bob and Denise

Bob and Denise were missing their dog, so they enjoyed Lizzy who belongs to Al and Sandy.

It was Bob and Denise's first trip to an In & Out Burger.

We headed up to see Mom on Tuesday, March 23rd, for a short visit with Mom in Las Vegas.
It's a six hour drive up route 95 through Lake Havasu City when you stop for lunch.

Arizona is full of Classic cars like this Chevy.  It was a bunch of "older guys" reliving fun times from their youth.

Good friends, Midge and Ray have moved from Las Vegas to St. George, Utah.  We took Mom and her friend, Minerva, and made the two hour drive up to spend the day with them and see their new home and community.
It's a straight shot up Interstate 15 northeast and you pass through the Virgin River Gorge. St. George is near Bryce and Zion National Parks.  We Passed through a corner of AZ on the way.

We had a wonderful visit with Midge and Ray and they fixed us a fabulous lunch!!!  It was so nice to see them and their new "digs" and just get to see their retirement community.

We had a nice, but short and busy visit with Mom and then it was time to head back down to Tier Drop RV Park and start getting ready for us to move on to other points.  I had to take a photo of this truck that we saw.  Now, THAT'S a pot of coffee!!!

The desert is blooming with wild flowers.  This is one right alone side the road.

My "garden" has recovered from the deer eating off all of the pansies and the geraniums were in need of fertilizer that Sandy provided for them.  Now, we'll store them in the underside of the Motorhome and hope they survive the heat as we travel down the road.

We will miss the Arizona sunrises and sunsets.  It's so hard to leave the wonderful group of people that the Lord has put us together with here!  We know this has been one of those "sovereign" meetings that only He could put together.

We have been praying and waiting for what direction to head next.  We have an invitation from dear friends in Texas to come and visit with them.  We hope to visit several people that we know while in that huge state.

We pray that this finds you in good health, great peace and with your eyes on Jesus! He is the only One with a good plan for our lives.  The things that are happening in the world were all predicted long ago and we shouldn't be surprised of the state that men are in without Christ.

Blessings,
Kathy
