We had a family gathering at Todd's apartment yesterday.
We spent a little time at the pool even though it was a bit overcast. Todd made some wonderful Chicken Stuffed Shells and I was able to gather enough rhubarb from Denise's garden to make two Strawberry Rhubarb Pies. It's always a challenge baking in my "easy bake" RV oven. I had to make them one at a time, but they turned out and we devoured them.

There was a nice sunset to top off the day.
Monday morning we started out by having a time and breakfast with Jim and Marie and then we helped Jeff to finish getting the final touches on the Cedar Lake Church. We moved in and set up 388 chairs.
The foyer will serve as a gathering place with lots of light from the full length windows.
We came home and rested up a bit before getting to go out for a little more fishing. The sun was shining and the fish were biting.

Our time with our Indiana family is drawing to a close. We have accepted work camping jobs at Cherry Creek State Park in Aurora, CO. We will stay there at least through the end of Oct. Our Motorhome (The Whale) can make it through freezing weather, but not long periods of time below freezing. We aren't sure, yet, what our jobs will be. We should only have to work 20 hours a week each and that will gain us a place to park in the "volunteer" area for the length of time we are willing to work.
We are hopeful that we can help our daughter's family get moved into their new home before heading back to AZ for the winter.
Blessings,
Kathy
