Wellton and Yuma

We drove the Honda back from Mom's to Tier Drop where the Whale was waiting for us.  Friends kept an eye on things for us and it was nice to know that.  We took the CA route to miss Havasu since it was the day after Thanksgiving and the traffic wasn't bad at all.
We rebuilt our patio after closing it all up while we were gone and we put up a few Christmas decorations.  I posted these on Facebook and then realized that some that follow my blog aren't on Facebook. We borrowed a small Fiber Optic tree from Mom that she didn't use this year.

We are still waking up to beautiful morning skies.

I tried a couple of Panoramic shots to see how they will work on the blog.

We still try to go for a long walk in the fields once a day.  We had a nice light rain that left some of the sandy paths pretty wet.  In the below picture I thought the back mountain looked like a man lying on his back with his hands folded on his stomach.

There are acres of fields with paths around them that we love to walk.  They are just to the west of Tier Drop RV Park.

The cactus along the front wall of the park are in bloom, too.

Their is a small grocery store and a Dollar Store in Wellton, but for any major shopping we drive 20 miles west over a small mountain pass into Yuma. The rain was moving out of the valley.

On the way back down out of the pass, you can see Yuma and also this place for walking and hiking into the foothills.

We stopped first at an outdoor vegetable/fruit stand for amazing things that have just been harvested out of the fields.

We plan to drive back up to Las Vegas in order to spend Christmas with Mom.

Hope you all had a Thankful THANKSgiving!

Blessings,
Kathy
